Providing, Serving or Consuming alcohol

Tune Farm Policies & Liability Insurance Requirements!

Liquor liability insurance is NOT included with your Venue Rental. If you choose to provide, serve – or if you or your guests consume alcohol at your Event, TUNE FARM requires that you purchase a Liquor Liability Insurance Policy, which includes a $1,000,000 General Liability Policy naming you as the primary insured and TUNE FARM as the additional named insured. This policy may be purchased online through “eWedinsurance” or “WedSafe.com“.

To limit your liability and for the safety of your guests, all alcohol service must end (“last call”) one hour before your contractual departure time or the scheduled end time for your Wedding or Event. In Alabama, because of Dram Shop Laws, “social hosts” (you) are subject to similar rules as vendors and can be held liable for damages where alcohol is provided to a visibly intoxicated guest or unlawfully to an underage guest. If an intoxicated guest of your Wedding or Event causes physical injury or property damage to a third party, you could be liable!

Please note: Per the state of Alabama, the following are PROHIBITED concerning the service or consumption of alcoholic beverages by you, your guests, your agents or other third parties on TUNE FARM property:

1. Serving an alcoholic beverage by any person under the age of twenty-one (21).
2. Serving any alcoholic beverage to any person who is a minor or to any person with reason to believe that such alcoholic beverage will be given to a minor.
3. Serving any alcoholic beverage to any person who is visibly intoxicated or reasonably suspected to be
4. Brown-bagging” by guests or any third-parties.
5. Possession and/or consumption of personal supply of alcohol in private vehicles or parking areas.
6. You, your guests or any third parties leaving the event with any open alcoholic containers.

To limit any liability for you or TUNE FARM, if you choose the “No Alcohol” option below and we observe that alcohol is being consumed at your Wedding or Event, we reserve the right to immediately purchase a Liquor Liability Insurance Policy with General Liability coverage of $1,000,000 through WedSafe, in your name, and deduct the cost for your Liquor Liability Coverage from your Security Deposit.

As we must adhere to state and federal laws regarding alcohol service and/or consumption, we hope you understand that TUNE FARM’s Alcohol Policies and Liquor Liability Insurance Requirements are strict for your protection and ours!

No Alcohol: No Alcohol: No, we will not be serving alcohol at our Wedding or Event, nor will there be any consumption of alcohol by us, our Wedding Party or our guests. There will be no BYOB. No liquor bottles will be brought in by our guests.

Beer & Wine ONLY: Beer & Wine ONLY: Yes, we will be serving only wine (includes sparkling wines) in bottles or boxed and/or beer (includes Truly, White Claw, etc.) in CANS or kegs only (NO BOTTLED BEER!) at our Wedding or Event, agree to use a dedicated server (Southern Spirits Bartending – $195), and secure a Liquor Liability Policy with General Liability Insurance for our Wedding or Event. There will be no BYOB. No liquor bottles will be brought in by our guests. www.booksouthernspirits.com

Beer, Wine, Signature Coctails or Mixed Drinks: Beer, Wine, Signature Coctails or Mixed Drinks: Yes, we will be serving wine (includes sparkling wines) in bottles or boxed and/or beer (includes Truly, White Claw, etc.) in CANS or kegs only (NO BOTTLED BEER!) and “signature cocktails” (1 to 1.5 oz. of spirits per cocktail only) at our Wedding or Event, agree to hire a professional bartender (Southern Spirits Bartending – inquire for pricing), and secure a Liquor Liability Policy with General Liability Insurance for our Wedding or Event. There will be no shots (including jello shots), no BYOB and no liquor bottles will be brought in by our guests, www.booksouthernspirits.com

BYOB - Beer and Wine ONLY: BYOB - Beer and Wine ONLY: Yes, we will allow our guests to bring ONLY wine (includes sparkling wines) in bottles or boxed and/or beer (includes Truly, White Claw, etc.) in CANS or kegs only (NO BOTTLED BEER!) at our Wedding or Event, We agree to hire a designated server (Southern Spirits Bartending – $195), and secure a Liquor Liability Policy with General Liability Insurance for our Wedding or Event.
